Description: This woodcut print features a rendering of God the Father holding a globus cruciger and making the sign of benediction with his right hand, a scene which is used as the title-image for the hymn “Auf meinen lieben Gott trau ich in Angst und Noth” (“In My Beloved God I Trust, Whether in Fear or Need”) by the Lutheran hymnist Joseph Clauder (1586 – 1653 CE), which he included in his Psalmnodia novae pars nova: sive selectissimorum hymnorum centura II.
